BRITISH ENGLISH AND AMERICAN ENGLISH?

                      

There are some differences between American English and British English, for example, spellings, accents. As Many English learners have difficulty deciding what kind of English accent they want to have, which do you prefer, American or British English?

English is a West Germanic language brought to Britain by Germanic settlers from various parts of what is now northwest Germany and the northern Netherlands.

British English (BrE) is the form of English used in the United Kingdom. It includes all English dialects within the United Kingdom.

American English (AmE) is the form of English used in the United States. It includes all English dialects used within the United States.

Approximately two-thirds of the world's native speakers of English live in the United States.
The use of English in the United States is a result of English colonization.

There are many British words which are different from American words.
